Mi vida en Guadalajara
Updated: Apr 16, 2020

Life has a funny way of being 80% boring and 20% interesting. It follows the oft-touted "80/20" rule perfectly. I still wake up, snuggled deep in my duvet enjoy the feel of my sheets while the call of nature and sunshine urge me out of bed. I still enjoy lying there for a moment...lingering enjoying the morning sun peeking through my blinds.

I get up and make Oaxacan "intensio" café. I have an argument (sometimes out loud) with myself about the need to put together a USMLE Step 1 study schedule while I pour over the complexities of the G.I. tract and renal system in Guyton and Robbin´s.

I typically am an early riser but the world outside my window doesn´t see me until 7 am now that I am on a short summer break. I walk to the gym taking in the foliage and a random show poodle along the way.

Later I let the evening take me to meet local friends for drinks in Centro and I take in the Templo Expiatorio del Santísimo Sacramento and Museo de Arté. Just a brief post about the lazy days of summer and the beauty I discover daily in Guadalajara.
